Cocktail of the Week: Sichuan Sting from Xiao Bao Biscuit

When I visited Xiao Bao Biscuit for the first time, I was on a mission to get out of my cocktail comfort zone (AKA tequila) and try something completely new. I definitely accomplished that, because the cocktail I chose came with a warning from the waitress. She told me, “this may sting a little,” (hence the name Sichuan Sting) and I still went for it anyway.

Xiao Bao Biscuit: Small Plates, Big Flavors

All I have to say is: WOW. I have heard great things about Xiao Bao Biscuit, but they blew away my expectations. First off, I love that everything is eaten family style because I love trying a bunch of different dishes without having to steal from people’s plates. While I was there, I enjoyed a cocktail that made my mouth tingly (in a good way) and some damn good dumplings. Warning: this post will make you hungry.
