With a nickname like Booze, I always try to sample different cocktails when I go out to places (for purely business purposes). Although I try to switch it up, there are some cocktails that just keep me coming back. The cocktail of the week this week will forever hold a special place in my heart and it is Taco Boy’s Casa Margarita.
tequila to mix ratio on point
Tequila is my favorite liquor by far and Taco Boy doesn’t try to hide it in their margarita. It is one of the only margaritas I’ve had where I don’t feel like they were being skimpy on the tequila. The mix they use is made in house and you can tell by how fresh the margarita tastes. The lime flavor really comes through and it’s not bogged down by sugar, which enhances the freshness.

get lit quick (and on the cheap)
Another attractive quality of the Taco Boy Casa Margarita is the price. At only $6 a drink, it’s a steal for what you get. You can get two for the price of what you would normally pay for one at other places, which is ideal for me. Two of these bad boys will have you prepared for a fun night out, or to go home and go to sleep, whichever you’re in the mood for.
Although I am honoring their margarita, I can’t sleep on Taco Boy’s food either. When you go get some margs after reading this post, give their appetizer trio and fried chicken taco a try. Their queso and guac is the perfect appetizer and both are included in the trio for a fair price. I get the fried chicken taco pretty much every time I go because it is the perfect balance with the crispy chicken, soft tortilla, tangy BBQ sauce, and spicy jalapeño mayo.
